Boston ad agency Hill Holliday asked five families to replace their cable connection with one of the current crop of networked TV devices: Roku, Boxee Box, Google TV, Apple TV and XBOX 360.
The results show what many of us already knew: due to a mix of challenges ranging from intellectual property territorialism (e.g. Warner Bros and Netflix and other similar power plays) and the...

Things are heating up and getting very tangible in our campaign to get Chris Kirkpatrick to be our guest at the Cool Show 4 Teen Girlz in March.
If you’d help us really tip things over the edge in the next few days by letting @IamCKirkpatrick know how much we’d love to have him at the CS4TG show in March (using the hashtag #CKdoesNY), we’d be eternally grateful.

Maude Nights have been killing it at the theatre lately. And this is my favorite sketch of the year so far!
Dweeb has raised the bar so high; that’s a good thing, right?!

Try not to pay attention to what’s going-on on the screen. Except for the words!
Here’s the sketch I wrote for January’s Dweeb show.
Honestly, from sitting with Abra at a coffee shop and coming up with the best place to put this ridiculous character, to buying both a unicorn on a stick and a...

After sifting through an array of disappointing weather apps, I was delighted to finally come across Weather HD. I’ve been using it for quite some time and feel comfortable advising you to spend your hard-earned $0.99.

coolsongz4teengirlz:
Hey there faithful CS4TG followers.
We’re Dan Chamberlain and Jason Flowers, and we run this Tumblr. We’re both comedians in New York City, and are currently cobbling together the first installment of CS4TG: Cool Show 4 Teen Girlz- and we need your help.

Thanks for the follow, JasonFlowers. Again I’ll say that y’all doing “Lets Get Retarded in Here” is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while.
This guy knows comedy!
Fun With Auditioning Children
chriskelly:
Today at work, a five year old boy came in to audition for us.
He was tiny, had blonde hair, and was wearing a leather jacket. Halfway through the audition, his cell phone rang. He stopped, pulled out an iPhone 4, and said verbatim, “Oh god, it’s Bryan Mendoza. I’ve gotta take this.”
And then he left and never came back.
You gave him the job, right?

Stay tuned for the great, Dweeb-branded tag at the end. It’s not better than the sketch, but almost.
