I’ve always had this idea for a TV show called Life in General, or something else even more vague. Every episode starts off with a cold open that is just a visualization of the main character’s dream from that night. Teeth Falling Out, Forgot to Wear Pants, Endlessly Playing Chess Against a Unicorn … that sorta stuff. The dream comes to an end when he is awakened by his alarm clock. The song that he wakes up to every day is Don’t Stop Me Now … which plays over the opening credit sequence.

Other than that the general premise of the show is that of Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, but in an interesting twist, it will start white people.

Just watched The Girlfriend Experience yesterday. Overall, it was an interesting, but not necessarily good movie. That said, I did feel that Soderbergh’s unconventional storytelling experiment paired quite nicely with Sasha Grey’s decision to wear the exact opposite outfit of the one seen above.

This actually made me LOL.

True story: the girl Kirk Cameron married (Chelsea Noble) is apparently my grandma’s goddaughter. If you’re Catholic, godparents are kind of a big deal, and a few years ago my grandma took her first plane trip to visit her goddaughter. When she came back, she was like, “Oh, btw, my goddaughter’s husband was on a TV show called ‘Growing Pains.’ Have you ever heard of it?” and I was like, “Alan Thicke?!?!!?!” obviously, and she was like, “No, the younger one.” Anyway, that’s pretty random, but also they’re stupid religious.

Chelsea Noble was also on Growing Pains, that’s where the pair first met. In fact, it’s my understanding that it was their real life relationship, combined with Kirk Cameron’s new found godliness, that put the kibosh on Mike Seaver’s womanizing ways.

Also, while we’re talking about Growing Pains: “Boner.”
